Okotoks Dawgs Shine at 2020 Pro Scout Day

The Okotoks Dawgs Academy hosted their annual pro scout day on Tuesday February 25th. In attendance were scouts from MLB Organizations including Toronto Blue Jays, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres, Atlanta Braves, Milwaukee Brewers and Washington Nationals; also in attendance was Head Coach of Team Canada- Greg Hamilton, and Prep Baseball Report.

The Dawgs Academy had 35 players attend and they did not disappoint. The Dawgs were impressive on all fronts- fielding, catching, hitting and pitching.

Standout performances include but are not limited to: Alejandro Cazorla, Ricardo Sanchez, Dryden Howse, Nicolas Fortin, Bennett Freiter, Connor Crowson, Justin Breen, Cody Hendriks, Jack Lines, Max Hartman, Eric Machej, Jose Nunez, Logan Rumberg, Conor Pote, Jackson Fraser, Matt Wilkinson and Simon Lusignan. The list could continue to go on, as every individual showcased well.

The Okotoks Dawgs would like to extend a thank you to all the scouts who attended the event. We appreciate your efforts and continued support!

Congratulations to all the players on an outstanding event, both collectively and individually!

Go Dawgs!
