Dawgs 18U Fall Ball
The Dawgs Fall program is run very much like Major League Spring Training. The 18U players will be split into 4 teams and play 6 games a week alternating between Seaman
Stadium and Tourmaline Field. The advantage being plenty of game reps, while allowing coaching staff to intervene during the games and instruct freely on any given situation. The remaining days of practice will be group and skill focused coupled with our strength and conditioning programming building up to “The Circuit” at the start of November.
Dawgs 13U/15U Fall Ball
Our Dawgs 13U/15U Fall program puts a ton of emphasis on skill development. Practicing 4 days a week, our youngest Dawgs will be working hand-in-hand with our coaching staff on all facets of the game- pitching, fielding, hitting, catching, base running and strength/conditioning. Each practice is run in a very similar fashion to our 18U program with a focus on building upon the fundamentals of the swing, arm action, delivery, fielding and receiving. Team concepts are also integrated into practice plans with intersquad and coach pitch simulated games.
With more players than ever in our program for the start of Fall ball, the Dawgs coaching staff is very excited about the talent level & work ethic across all age groups, and we cannot wait to see how these young athletes develop in the coming months!
