The Dawgs Academy visited Spokane Falls Community College for their 7th game of their Fall College Tour earlier today, losing by a score of 8-5. Despite the loss, there were multiple standout performances as the Dawgs gave the Bigfoot a run for their money!
Sawyer Fech got the start on the mound, allowing 5 runs on 6 hits while collecting 5 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. Lucas Mahoney, Patriks Ludviks and Tyson Wedge each pitched 1 inning of relief.
Offensively, the Dawgs had their best performance to date on the tour with 10 hits in the game. Santiago Rodriguez went 2 for 4 with a double and triple while collecting 1 RBI. Ty Gertner went 2 for 3 with a double and one run scored. Jack Lussier went 2 for 3 with an RBI. Louis-Charles Larouche was 1 for 4 with an RBI single. Kayden Myslicki went 1 for 2 with an RBI triple and one run scored. Keegan Leary went 1 for 4 with a single and Tye Carrier chipped in with a RBI 6-3 fielders choice.
The Dawgs will travel to Seattle tomorrow to take on the Seattle University Redhawks at Bannerwood Park. First pitch is at 4 pm. Stay tuned for more updates.
