Dawgs 15U Black fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-1 loss to Langley Blaze on Sunday. Langley Blaze scored on an error and a double in the first inning.

The Dawgs 15U Black struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Langley Blaze, giving up 13 runs.

Langley Blaze scored five runs in the fifth inning. The big inning for Langley Blaze came thanks to an onslaught of extra base hits including a home run and a double, scoring a total of 5 runs in the inning.

Logan Rumberg started on the mound for the Dawgs, allowing six hits and seven runs over one and one-third innings, striking out one.  Kellen Bourne and Tyson King entered the game as relief, throwing one and two-thirds innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Connor Wong went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Dawgs offensively.
