The Okotoks Dawgs Academy is pleased to announce that four Dawgs have been selected to the Team Canada Junior National Team Selection Camp from November 14-20 in Palm Beach, Florida – home of the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals Spring Training.

Congratulations to Cesar Valero, Micah McDowell, LaRon Smith and Tyler McWillie for being named to the 28 player invitee roster.

The camp serves as a final tryout, where the top 20 players will be selected to represent Canada at the COPABE U-18 Pan American Championships held in Panama. Team Canada must place in the top 4 countries to qualify for the 2019 WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in Gijang, South Korea.

The Dawgs Staff would like to wish Team Canada and the Dawgs Academy members attending the best of luck!
