OTTAWA – Baseball Canada is thrilled to announce that registration is now OPEN for The Road to Okotoks, a one-of-a-kind national championship that will showcase the best 19 and under baseball talent in the country.
Sixteen teams. One champion. Thousands of fans.
This is The Road to Okotoks, and it all culminates from July 14–19, 2026, in front of packed stands at incredible Seaman Stadium in Okotoks, Alberta – the home of the Okotoks Dawgs.
Each summer, Seaman Stadium draws capacity crowds and unmatched energy, making it one of the top amateur baseball experiences in North America. Now, Canadian athletes will get the chance to compete on that stage - not in an exhibition, but for national bragging rights and the chance to hoist the inaugural Morneau Cup, named in honour of Canadian baseball legend Justin Morneau.
“This is more than just a tournament, it’s a national celebration of amateur baseball,” said Baseball Canada CEO Jason Dickson. “It’s a best-on-best competition, in one of the most electric amateur baseball environments anywhere. This event is going to be special.”
Before reaching Okotoks, teams will battle through Regional Qualifiers in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, hosted by some of the country’s premier amateur programs.
