The Dawgs Academy is thrilled to announce that 2025 OF/LHP  Landon Kauffman has committed to the University of Portland.

Kauffman, currently in his 2nd year with the academy, was a standout performer for the Dawgs 18U Black team during the spring and summer of 2023. In 72 games played, Kauffman hit .338 with 10 doubles, 6 triples, 2 home runs and 50 RBI while scoring 66 runs with 28 stolen bases. On the mound, Kauffman worked primarily out of the bullpen. In 5 games pitched including 1 start, Kauffman pitched 11 innings with 21 strikeouts and a 1.91 era.
