This week’s Dawgs Academy Alumni Spotlight features Tyrese Johnson (OF, Central Arizona College) and Brendan Logan (RHP, University of British Columbia).

Tyrese Johnson - OF, Central Arizona College

After playing an integral role in the Vaqueros 2022 JUCO World Series Championship, Johnson has picked up right where he left off. In 22 games played, Johnson is hitting .347 with 5 doubles and 6 RBIs while scoring 13 runs and swiping 4 bags. Keep it up, Ty!

Brendan Logan - RHP, University of British Columbia

Logan is back with a clean bill of health for the Thunderbirds in 2023. So far, Logan has made 5 appearances. In those 5 appearances, Logan has logged 6.2 innings pitched while tallying 7 strikeouts with a stingy 1.35 era. Great to see Brendan back on the mound competing again!
