The Okotoks Dawgs are incredibly fortunate to be able to share the fantastic news that thanks to private donors and in collaboration with the Town of Okotoks, the Dawgs have begun a major upgrade to Seaman Stadium.

The upgrade includes: -new hospitality patios along the top of the Berm towards the left field corner -a new Visitors Clubhouse,  which will become part of the outfield fence in LF -a Viewing Perch on top of the Clubhouse with a full hospitality section (think Fenway Park in Boston or the Crawford Boxes in Houston). It’s going to be very cool.

Dawgs Managing Director, John Ircandia and MLA RJ Sigurdson, celebrating the commitment of $115,000 by the province of Alberta towards the stadium upgrades as a part of the Community Enhancement Program.

The Dawgs and Town of Okotoks will also be playing host to the prestigious Baseball Canada Ray Carter 15U National Championship this coming August where teams from each province will be represented. Both the Dawgs and Town of Okotoks are expecting a major influx of visitors (in the thousands) to the town and our facilities.

Special thanks to MLA RJ Sigurdson and the Province of Alberta for all of your support!

A big THANK YOU as well to Jeff Daniels, Carlee Savoy and Tourism Calgary for their generous support in recognizing the regional benefits of hosting the national championship. The Dawgs are fortunate to have such incredible partners as the Province of Alberta and Tourism Calgary.

MLA RJ Sigurdson and Dawgs coaching staff members, celebrating the commitment of $70,000 by the province of Alberta in support of this National Event.
