LaRon Smith was the hero in the 5-3 win over Nicaragua in the Bronze medal game of the COPABE 18U Pan Am Championships yesterday. It was in the eighth inning with the game tied 3-3 when Smith launched a 1-2 breaking ball over the left field wall to cement the bronze medal for Team Canada.

Team Canada has officially qualified and earned their spot in the 2019 WBSC U18 Baseball World Cup in South Korea.

Congratulations to Dawgs Academy, current and former athletes- LaRon Smith, Tyler McWillie and Cesar Valero, and the rest of Team Canada on representing our country and earning the bronze medal!
