Day 2 of Best of the West

Dawgs 18U Black weathered a scare by BLE Selects in the fifth inning where the Dawgs coughed up three runs, but still won 10-4 on Friday.

The offense secured the victory thanks to six runs in the fourth inning led by Gavin Logan, Micah McDowell, and Tristan Peters, all driving in runs in the inning.

Ryan Olchoway got the win, allowing one run on two hits over four innings, striking out three and walking one. Ethan Francis threw three innings in relief to earn the save.

Offensive production was solid 1 thru 10 in the lineup, they racked up ten hits on the day. LaRon Smith and Valero  collected multiple hits.

Day 3 of Best of the West

Kye Seitz was clutch at the plate with ducks on the pond on Saturday, driving in six on two hits to lead Dawgs 18U Black past Langley Blaze 11-2 on Saturday. Seitz drove in runs on a grand slam in the first and a double in the third.

Brendan Logan earned the win for Dawgs 18U Black. He allowed eight hits and two runs over five innings, striking out five and walking zero.

The Dawgs racked up eight hits. Jayden Wakeham, Seitz, and Micah McDowell all managed multiple hits.
