Dawgs 18U Black defeated Abbotsford Cardinals 3-0 on Friday as Brendan Logan and Ryan Olchoway combined to throw a shutout.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Dawgs 18U Black pitchers struck out seven, while Abbotsford Cardinals pitchers sat down five.

Brendan Logan was credited with the victory for Dawgs 18U Black. He surrendered zero runs on three hits over five innings, striking out four and walking zero.  Olchoway threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Olchoway recorded the last six outs to earn the save.

Tucker Zdunich, Alejandro Cazorla, Cesar Valero, Jayden Wakeham, and LaRon Smith each managed one hit to lead Dawgs 18U Black.

Defensively, the Dawgs were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error.
